It´s difficult to make young people excited about political, social or even economic issues. But according to the Ministry of Education, it is important to sensitize young people to such news.

readakteur is an interactive teaching and learning tool for students and teachers in a German and Social Studies classroom. On this news platform, students can use interactive exercises to compare learning progress with their teachers and write their own articles and; therefore, publish them on the platform.

The contents of this platform are adapted to the education and curriculum and can be used in a German and Social Studies classroom at secondary schools, grade 8-10. Lessons can be taught by using the digital medium. In addition, analogue informational material has also been developed.
